Angie Founder and Director of Ange Bakes Keto

Angie started her ketogenic diet more than a year ago, determined to get back into shape after the birth of her second daughter, Samantha. Being a sweet-tooth lover, she experienced first-hand; the challenges of sustaining the Keto way of eating (#woe).

She soon started making her own keto bakes at home which led to the birth of Ange Bakes Keto. With the growing community of keto-dieters, demands for her yummy bakes grew. With her sales and marketing background, she saw the demand in this growing market.

More importantly, she truly believes in the positive health benefits of the ketogenic (#ketosg) diet when she lost over 10kg within months into the diet.  Her passion is to bring Keto WOE closer to many more and make it as sustainable as possible so that more can enjoy the health benefits of eating the healthier way.

After months of deliberation, sourcing and countless discussions, Ange Bakes Keto Bakery & Café is finally set up with it’s first humble store at The Adelphi.

 

Outside of work, Angie is a mother of 2 beautiful daughters, Isabelle and Samantha.  She spends most of her weekend bonding with her family.

"After the birth of my 2nd child, i managed to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight but I still yearned to get better into shape. This is the time I made a resolution to bring a positive change in my life and I hence embarked on the journey of researching which is the best and most effective way for me to do it.

 

Around the same time, while chatting with some friends, the topic of the keto diet was brought up. My curiousity was piqued and I went on to read up intensely on the diet to understand the science behind it. With the newfound knowledge and information, I feel confident it was a diet I can go through with.

On the 17th July 2018, I made the decision to change my diet to the keto way of eating. I have not looked back since."

Joy first encountered the keto diet when she saw Angie’s drastic weight lost in the span of months. It was not difficult for her to grasp the science behind the #lchf diet as she has always believed in eating the healthier way. In fact, she was already familiar with the bulletproof coffee and white sugar elimination way back in 2012. Understanding the keto diet just takes it to another level.

With over a decade of experience in Operations and Marketing, Joy was the ideal pick to work hand-in-hand with Angie to set up this new business venture. Being also at the forefront of customer service in her experience, Joy values the importance of providing service excellency and making customers feel at ease. While this is her first shot at F&B, she hopes to bring the same experience to every customer who visits Ange Bakes Keto.

Joy is mother to a pair of twins, Macy and Mathieu. Other than spending time with her family, she loves gardening and keeping small animals.

“Picking up on the keto diet has helped me learn to choose my food wisely. Eating 'good fats' was something new. There are many benefits to discover with this way of eating. 

 

While I am still learning more about the diet, I am very excited to partner with Angie to bring healthier eating closer to the community”
